Skip right on if you haven’t seen it, I don’t want to make anyone mad.
But anyway, I googled this up & found the answer, I think.
Does Cobb’s totem keep spinning at the end or is it about to fall off the table?
Answer: The fact that the film cuts away before we know for certain suggests that they want us to keep guessing. But we think it kept spinning. Here’s our reasoning: Note that at the end of the film Cobb’s kids haven’t aged. They match exactly his memory of them. A memory which must almost surely by now be out of date, since he’s been away from them for many months. Though he finally sees their faces, otherwise they look exactly as he envisioned them. They’re even wearing the same clothes. In reality, his kids would now be older and different than his memories of them. This could suggest that Cobb is still in the dream and the top does indeed keep spinning after the credits roll.
sorry but they are older. If you look at the actors list, they actually have 2 kids playing each of the kids =p
My theory on heaven and hell is that heaven is actually in the middle of the sun. Hence why it is always…er…might I say day time as we portray? lol. And hell is the hot hell heat of the sun itself. Just saying.
You have your beliefs and I have my owns. I respect yours so respect mines. It may not be the same and it goes against yours but in no way am I telling YOU to believe in what I do.
I do not believe in God, but I respect those who do because you have faith in your religion. However, I do not but that is that.
Am I telling you that there is something wrong with your religion? No. Am I telling you that what you believe in is a lie? No. Am I telling you that it’s stupid to have a religion? No.
So, in what ways do you find it okay to go ape shi- on me and tell me that I’m going to hell (Which I don’t even believe in) when I don’t say jack about yours?
If I recall:
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Matthew 22:36-40).
If you are a Catholic yourself, I believe this is something you pertain to.
“We are all sinners.”
Just respect my beliefs as I respect yours.
I’ve seen people blog about how stupid Atheists are for not believing in God. While I agree with them wholeheartedly, I decide to keep my comments to myself. But, if I could get away with it, I’d be honest.
Yes, I do believe that believing in what I consider a ‘fairytale’ is to an extent naive. Yes, I do find religion stupid. Yes, I do believe it’s a fabricated lie.
But, sadly, the minority can never say what they want to believe without being attacked.
