It’s that as we grow up, we start understanding that the world was never a place of perfection to begin with. It was always the same, just we are more aware of the world around us and how deceiving and terrible it may be. The generations after us are no worse then our own, although it may seem that way, it is US, the generation before them that influences them. We are their role models. We are the creators of the world problems, not stopping the problems of the generation before us. We have the power to change the world, but we don’t. We just complain how the world is such a bad place now compared to before. If every single person did one nice thing OUT of their way for someone they didn’t know, I believe the impact that would have on the world would forever change the world, and make the world a better place. We are the change, the influence, the power that can actually make the world better then it always has been. BE the change.
